Individualized
Smile Design
Each person is unique and has an individual
set of expectations and desires. Many
elements meet together to create the smile
that says “you”. Trained by some of the best
experts in the field, Dr. Winchell and his
team focus on your desires for your most
confident radiant smile.
Veneers
Do you want that youthful, stunning, perfect
smile? Most beautiful of all restorations,
ultra-thin porcelain veneers can change your
life. Created individually to enhance the
shape, size, color, masculinity or
femininity, and artistic qualities you
desire for your smile, porcelain veneers can
change your smile to a radiant, confident
smile in as little as two visits. Cracked,
discolored, or crooked teeth can be
transformed so you don’t have to deal with
embarrassment any more. In as little as 2 visits you
can experience a confident attractive smile or find yourself feeling shy
because you realize some people across the
room are noticing you. It’s your turn...
...let your dreams become reality.
Lumineers
Perhaps you’ve read or heard about
Lumineers. A new possibility for your smile,
Lumineers may allow you to preserve your
natural tooth structure while creating a
beautiful smile without anesthesia. No
shots, no grinding. This is an awesome new
advance in cosmetic dentistry.
Instant Orthodontics
Beautiful straight teeth may be yours
without going through years of braces
through cosmetic dentistry. Now you can have
the beautiful smile that used to be
available only to movie stars, supermodels
and TV personalities who wanted beautiful
smiles fast. If time, career or lifestyle
make braces impractical or undesirable you
may have a gorgeous smile in just two or
three appointments.
Cosmetic Dentures
The advances in cosmetic dentistry can be
yours with cosmetic dentures. Not your
ordinary “off-the-shelf “dentures using the
same skill as a smile makeover, Dr. Winchell
can create a smile that looks like “you”.
Often you have the option of creating
dentures that really chew the foods you
love--corn on the cob, apples, crunchy
cookies. Pamper yourself with dentures you
actually love and feel proud to wear.
Help for Headaches and Migraines
Many people suffer throughout their lives
with headaches. While there are a variety of
causes of headaches and migraines one
possibility that is often overlooked is
related to how your jaw and teeth work
together. Watching guests who have suffered
for many years suddenly find relief brings
deep satisfaction to Dr. Winchell. The pain
relief from resolving the dental or TMJ
problems can make such a difference that
there is a marked change similar to a face
lift. Though the treatment varies depending
on the individual’s situation, the relief
can be almost instant.
Bridges
Today’s beautiful bridges allow you the
opportunity for a long-lasting natural smile
even with missing teeth. Matched to your
teeth in color and shape they allow you to
smile your best smile, allow you to chew
food properly.

Mercury-free Dentistry
In today’s concern for health and beauty
many people desire to have a mercury-free
smile. Those dark, unsightly “silver”amalgam
fillings that create dark spots in your
teeth contain mercury. You’ve probably heard
a lot in the news about mercury concerns.
Twenty years ago when the controversy over
mercury poisoning really began Dr. Winchell
was among the leaders in choosing to use
only 100% mercury free (and beautiful)
restorations. These tooth-colored materials
are bio-compatible and look and feel like
natural teeth.
Crowns
Does just one chipped, cracked or discolored
tooth ruin your smile? A crown (sometimes
called caps) made from today’s beautiful
tooth-colored materials can change your
smile into a youthful confident smile. A
crown matched in color and shading to your
other teeth fits over your injured tooth to
provide strength and a radiant smile.
Air Abrasion
If you’d love to skip the sound of the drill
and being numb you may be an excellent
candidate for air-abrasion dentistry that’s
drill-free. Ideal for small cavities, this
advanced new process clears away tooth decay
is fast, and painless. Air-abrasion combined
with with tooth-colored fillings gives you a
great alternative to those “metal-mouth”
silver mercury amalgam fillings.
General Dentistry
Even the most beautiful smile needs
care—regular cleanings, oral examinations,
oral cancer screening and maintenance, as
well as occasional emergency care. Though
Dr. Winchell is trained in cosmetic
dentistry he must first be a general dentist
skilled in all your general dental needs.
He’s a member of the American Dental
Association and The American Academy of
Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Winchell is
well-trained to meet all your general dental
needs.
Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction
known as TMD or TMJ
Temporomandibular joint dysfunction–the
condition experienced by those who have
difficulty chewing without pain or popping
or noise in the joint or locking in
position–has often been difficult to treat.
Dr. Winchell has much personal experience
with these problems and has studied current
research and exciting new ways to bring
relief to your suffering.
Below is a check list of symptoms which may
indicate that you are experiencing TMD or
TMJ.
–Pain in the jaw joint/surrounding tissue,
including ear.
–Jaw locking open or closed
–Limited opening or inability to open the
mouth
–Headaches
–Bite that feels uncomfortable, “off” or as
if it is continually changing
–Neck, shoulder and back pain
–Swelling on the side of the face
–A clicking or popping sound when opening.
If you have any of the above symptoms you
could be experiencing TMJ Disorder.
Oral Sedation
A guest who chooses oral sedation
will arrive a little early and be greeted by
extra touches of special attention and be
given the opportunity to become relaxed by
taking a calming medication. Guests who
choose this option will be brought to the
studio by a family member or friend who will
return to chauffeur the guest home after the
visit.
If you are anxious, have been hurt or simply
want to relax through your dental care
experience, consider pampering yourself with
oral sedation.
What Kathy from Longview said “What an
experience. It was great! A very enjoyable
pleasant, relaxing experience for my smile
makeover and that night I was running the
lake. I’d definitely do it again.”
Tooth-Colored Fillings
Do you like seeing those black fillings
darkening your white teeth? Or maybe you
thought those teeth were just naturally
dark. Often teeth restored years ago with
silver-mercury amalgam fillings look dark
because of corrosion from leakage between
the filling and the tooth.. When these old
fillings are removed it’s likely the tooth
will instantly look several shades lighter
and you see a great smile and nothing else.
If you want white teeth instead of black
fillings the allow you to laugh and smile
with confidence.
Prevention Plaque control, cleaning, fluoride
treatments, and antibacterial therapy help
patients enjoy cavity- and disease-free
dental visits. Early detection of cavities
and periodontal disease is the key to
avoiding costly and painful dental
treatment. Unfortunately, 90 percent of the
population is susceptible to periodontal
disease, the major cause of tooth loss. What
makes this problem so insidious is that most
patients feel no symptoms until it is too
late.
Professional cleanings are the only way to
remove tartar, which traps bacteria along
the gum line and leads to periodontal
disease. With regular cleanings, you have a
strong, fighting chance to keep your teeth
for life. |
